Biopsy Services
A biopsy is when the physician removes a small sample of the affected area and sends it to a pathologist to determine the specific growth type and possible disease present. Using these results of the biopsy, the dermatologist is able to create an effective treatment plan.

Cryosurgery
Cryosurgery is a non-invasive procedure that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy lesions of the skin.

Dermatological Surgery
For health or cosmetic purposes, Dermatological surgery provides effective treatment for a multitude of conditions and diseases of the skin. At Summit Dermatology, we employ several cost-effective, high-quality methods that include scalpel, laser and chemical surgery in addition to many others.

Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT)
Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT) uses a small, portable device to deliver painless low energy below the skin’s surface. This 15-minute treatment is safe and typically causes mild skin reactions that are evaluated by your Radiation Therapist daily. You may wash the treated area gently with soap and pat dry, but do not expose the skin to sunlight, or application of perfumes, deodorants and medications before consulting your caregiver.
